Tres Noir Handmade Optics was born when two brothers had the vision to create a sunglass brand that fit their needs and style yet be high quality items. They wanted to create a brand that fit their lifestyle and reflected a more real, gritty, side of so-cal culture, including art, music, kustom cars, motorcycles, surfing and skating.
Tres Noir introduced a collection of handmade frames produced in limited quantities that would provide a unique but classic sunglass for their niche market. Creating a line that would not be mass-produced was the Tres Noir vision. Feasting on a heavy diet of Southern California culture- rock n'roll, action sports, and lowbrow art, the brand came to life. It has debuted the first year at the Southern California Ink N Iron Festival and really took off from there.
